I have been meaning to post about Cloth Fabric for months! Cloth Fabric creates beautiful, hand printed fabrics designed by the talented owner Julie Patterson. The hand printing process creates the loveliest texture on some of the patterns.
But the reason for today's post! Julie Patterson also creates beautiful art pieces (I saw a wonderful inky blue one for sale in bangalow recently for anyone who happens to live nearby!). I absolutely love this piece, off-cuts never looked so good!
Is the name of the artwork "Homes they built themselves"? I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't it a great name! They really remind me of buildings, especially as I love those timber sets like 'New York in a bag', where abstract timber shapes represent iconic New York buildings. Maybe this is the creative Australian version!
