A favourite show of mine is the
BBC's Grand Designs. The presenter Kevin
McCloud takes you on ups and downs of peoples journey's to create their dream home. From innovative social housing schemes to hexagon shaped homes!, the projects are always interesting and can also show innovative building processes. A few picks follow of one of the homes featured, a kit home in the desert!

love the openness of the design - and the sparse desert landscape!

Just lovely. What is it about kit homes? They seem a bit like tree houses, or cubby houses. They're sort of delicate and airy. Brizzy people should check out the Happy Haus on Grey Street (near the cinemas).
ReplyDeleteSo true, it's something about the very economical use of space, combined with great simple finishes! Very cubby haus!! I walked past the happy haus yesterday - fantastic!
